How Do I Change My Slide Template?

Changing templates allows you to redesign and adapt existing content to a new template style without starting over!

How to Change Your Slide Template

  1. Click on the 'Ideas' tab on the Properties Panel
  2. Click on 'Switch to another slide'
  3. You will be brought to the slide library where you can scroll and choose the slide type you'd like to change it to
  4. Once you've made your choice, click on the slide template you'd like it changed to
  5. Your slide content will then be adapted to the chosen template!

You'll be able to switch your smart template repeatedly until you find the one that fits!

While objects like heading, tray data (image and text boxes), and primary element content are preserved whenever possible, this feature may cause data loss in some cases. This happens because some templates support more or fewer objects than the one you're switching to/from. You can always revert changes by clicking undo or Version History.
