Create a New Team Slide from an Imported PPT Slide

On the Team Slides page, click + NEW SLIDE in the top-right. Instead of dropping you onto a blank canvas, Beautiful.ai opens the slide picker so you choose a starting point first:

1. Click + NEW SLIDE in the top-right corner.
2. Click on 'IMPORT SLIDES FROM PPT'. 
3. Click on 'SELECT FILE' to search for and add the presentation you wish to select your slides from.
4. Click on the slide(s) you wish to use and then click on 'IMPORT SLIDES'.
5. You can then customize the slide. Keep in mind that since you are importing a PPT slide, there could potentially be some formatting differences that will need to be edited.
6. When it looks right, click 'SAVE CHANGES' in the bottom-right.
7. The "Share this slide with your team" window pops up. This is where you can: give the slide a clear name, optionally add a description or instructions and tags, then under "How do you want to share this slide with your team?" choose the type:
   • Create Slide Template — an editable slide for your team to customize.
   • Create Shared Slide — a finished, uneditable slide. Team Librarians can edit Shared Slides and automatically update all instances.
8. Click 'PUBLISH'.
