Folders give your library a clear top-level structure so your team isn't scrolling one long grid to find a headshot.
To create one:
- On the Team Assets page, find the 'FOLDERS' section in the left panel.
- Click the '+' icon next to 'FOLDERS'.
- Name it something your team recognizes ("Logos," "Headshots," "Product Photos," "Backgrounds") and click 'Ok'.
- Drag assets into it to populate it.
A pattern that works well: folder by type or subject ("Logos," "Team Headshots," "Event Photos"), which is how people actually picture the image they're looking for.
Folders are for where things live, tags are for how you slice them. Folders give your library a clear home ("Logos," "Headshots"), while tags let you filter across folders ("Q4 Campaign," "Approved," "Dark Background"). They work together: an asset can sit in your "Logos" folder and still carry a "White Version" tag your team filters on with ALL TAGS. And the structure you build on the admin side is exactly what your team sees, so a quick rename on your end updates it for everyone instantly.
