Once your assets have been added, you can easily manage and update them from your Team Asset Library view.
Managing Your Team Assets
Hover over any asset and open its 3-dot menu.
You'll see a few options:
-Replace Asset
-Properties
-Add Tags
-Generate Metadata
-Unpublish
-Delete- Under 'Properties' you can:
-Name the asset
-Add a description
-Change the asset type
-Add or remove tags
-Toggle 'PUBLISHED' on or off
The panel also shows who created and last modified the asset, so you always know how current a file is. Click SAVE CHANGES when you're done.
Replacing a Team Asset
To swap an asset for a new version:
- Hover the asset and open its 3-dot menu, then choose' Replace Asset'.
- A confirmation window will appear. Click 'OK'.
- The media picker will open and you can pick the new file from whichever source it lives in: Import (upload the new file from your computer, the usual choice for a rebrand), Recent Media, Find in Slides, Stock Images, Web Images, or Create with AI.
- After selecting the new asset, a pop up window will appear. Click on 'Review Metadata'. This is where you can update the tags, name the new asset, etc.
- After completing, click 'Save Changes'.
To note: 'Replace Asset' replaces the file everywhere; Delete Asset removes it everywhere. Replace keeps the asset and every link intact while swapping the underlying image (safe and reversible-feeling). Delete removes the asset from the library entirely. If your goal is just to stop the team from using something, opt for the 'PUBLISHED' toggle instead of deleting, so you keep the option to bring it back.
