Brand Kit Editor-Typography

Here you'll be able to set fonts for five separate text styles:

Fonts

  • HEADER — the largest text on a slide, used for slide titles and headlines.
  • EMPHASIZED HEADER — the font used for header text when your team emphasizes it with the star icon in the editor. You can fine-tune its relative size, baseline, and line height (via the three-dot menu next to it) to keep mixed styles aligned, balanced, and readable inside the same header block.
  • TITLE — secondary titles inside slide elements.
  • BODY — paragraph text and most slide copy.
  • LABEL — small text like captions, metadata, and slide labels.

For each, pick a font from the dropdown. The dropdown shows you Beautiful.ai's built-in library plus any custom fonts your team has uploaded.

Below the font pickers you'll also find:

  • FONT SCALE — a global multiplier for all text sizes in your theme (handy if your brand fonts run small or large)
  • CJK FONT — pick a Chinese/Japanese/Korean font if any of your decks include those scripts
  • USE RTL TEXT — toggle for right-to-left languages

Uploading a Font Family

If your brand font isn't in the dropdown you can easily upload it as a font family! Follow the instructions below to do so:

  1. Click any font dropdown and scroll to the bottom. You'll see an 'UPLOAD FONT' button.

  2. Clicking it opens the Upload Font Family modal, where you can upload your own .ttf or .otf font files. The "family" framing matters: you can upload multiple weights and styles (Regular, Bold, Italic, Light, etc.) into a single font family, so your team's editor treats them as one cohesive font with all its variations rather than a pile of separate fonts in the dropdown.

  3. To upload, click ADD FONTS... in the modal, select your font files (you can add multiple at once). If you've uploaded duplicate fonts, you will receive a message letting you know. You can click on the 'X' associated with that font to remove.

  4. Click CREATE FONT FAMILY in the bottom right.

  5. Once uploaded, the font family is available across every Team Theme and every deck your team creates. This is how you get your team off generic web fonts and onto your actual brand typography.

To note:

Click the three-dot menu next to any font for advanced controls. Each font picker has a small menu icon to its right that opens a fine-tuning panel: Letter Spacing, Line Height, Font Scale (per-style this time, not global), and Case (Auto, UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case). Most admins don't need to touch these, but if your brand guidelines specify tracking, leading, or all-caps headers, this is where you set it.
