Creating Your New Brand Kit

  1. Click "+ NEW BRAND KIT" to open the editor

  2. The Brand Kit Editor opens. You'll see the structure right away: a left sidebar with six tabs (Colors, Typography, Decoration, Footer, Default Slides, Load Screen), a center panel where you make your changes, and a right panel with a live brand kit preview that updates as you go. This live preview is one of the best parts of the editor, since every change you make shows up immediately on the sample slides.

Before you start from scratch, look at the top of the editor. There are three options up there that can save you significant time::

  • IMPORT BRAND KIT — Pull in a brand kit from another team workspace or one you've previously built. Great if you're spinning up a new team workspace and want to mirror an existing brand setup.
  • IMPORT FROM PPT — Upload a PowerPoint file, and Beautiful.ai will extract the colors, fonts, and styling from it. This is the fastest way to get a starting point if your brand already lives in a PPT template, since you can import and then refine. Heads up: it won't always pull in every detail perfectly (some colors, fonts, or styling elements may not transfer cleanly), so think of it as a head start rather than a finished brand kit. You'll still want to walk through each section of the editor afterward and fill in anything that didn't carry over.
  • ADD TO SAVED BRAND KITS — Once you've built a brand kit, save it to your personal saved brand kits list so you can reuse it as a starting point on future brand kits (yours or another team's).

If your brand is already locked in somewhere like a PPT template, starting with an import gets you 70% of the way there before you touch a single setting.
