An Introduction to Your Team Asset Library

Team Assets are your team's library of brand-approved images, logos, and GIFs, so nobody hunts down or re-imports the same headshot or logo again. As the Owner or Librarian, you can stock the library a few different ways, organize it with folders and tags, and update any asset once so the change flows to every deck that uses it.

Your Team Assets Page

Think about what happens without a shared library. Someone needs the company logo, so they Google it and grab whichever version comes up first (often the wrong color, the wrong file, or last year's logo). Someone else digs through Slack to find a headshot. A third person re-uploads the same product photo for the fifth time. Every one of those is a small tax on your brand and your team's time.

Team Assets fixes that. It's a central, curated library of the visuals your team is allowed and encouraged to use: brand logos in every variation, approved headshots, product shots, background images, branded GIFs. Once it's stocked, nobody hunts down an image or imports it from scratch again. They open the picker, click Team Assets, and the right, on-brand file is already there waiting.

Team Assets as a Single Source of Truth

When you add an image to Team Assets, every deck that uses it stays linked to that one master asset. So when your logo changes, your tagline gets a refresh, or marketing ships a new headshot, you don't go deck by deck fixing it. You update the asset once, and every presentation already using it updates automatically. Beautiful.ai even spells this out when you do it: the Update Asset dialog reads, "You can update this asset with a new version and any slides that currently use this asset will be automatically updated."

One update ripples out to every deck using that asset, instantly. That's the whole point, and it's also why it's worth a half-second of thought before you replace a widely-used asset like your primary logo. The change is global and immediate: every deck currently using that file picks up the new version the moment you confirm. For brand updates that's exactly what you want. Just know that "update once" really does mean "everywhere at once."

Before You Begin

Only Owners and Librarians can build and manage Team Assets. To verify:

  1. From 'MY PRESENTATIONS' on the top-left of the sidebar, look for the 'TEAM RESOURCES' section.

  2. If it's there, you're set. If it isn't, an Owner will need to change your role before you can continue.
