Pictograph

Over 65% of people are visual learners. To make sure your presentation is memorable, consider adding a pictograph template. A pictograph template uses repeating rows or a grid of icons to represent data. Also called an icon chart, picture chart, or pictogram, pictographs display data in a simple, compelling way.

Icon

  • This option allows you to select the icon that you want to use to visualize your data. Choose from the options provided in the menu or click on Choose Icon... to access the icon library if you want more choices to choose from.

Item Colors

  • This option allows you to change the colors of your icons on your slide. The colors available will be the colors for your chosen theme.

Show Values

  • This option allows you to display the data you are trying to visualize on the slide.

Value Format

  • This option is accessible if you have the Show Values option enabled and allows you to select the format of your data. You can choose from Percent, Number, or Currency.

Value Position

  • This option allows you to decide if you want your value displayed above or below your icons.

Range

  • This option allows you to set the minimum and maximum values for your chart data. You can use this to control the range of people your data is visualizing as example.

  • The Autofit option helps automate this process by setting the minimum to 0 and the maximum to the highest value on your slide.
