A thermometer slide template uses a thermometer to show the percentage of a value. A thermometer graphic looks like a classic thermometer. Essentially, it’s a vertical graph with numerical values instead of degrees. The “temperature” is the shaded part in the thermometer graphic, which usually represents a defined value.
A fundraiser thermometer graphic might display the progress of a current campaign or program. For example, if you have a fundraiser goal of $5,000 and the current amount raised is $1,500, the thermometer graphic would display a “temperature” of 30%.

Thermometer Color
- This allows you to set the color of the 'filling' of the thermometer. The colors available will be the colors of the chosen theme as well as the colors you have set for the 'Positive' and 'Negative' values.
Max Value
- You can set the max value of the thermometer (typically 100%) depending on the type of data you are intending to display.
Value Format
You can set the format of the data you wish to display. You can make further adjustments of the value depending on the format selected.
Number of Ticks
- You can determine the number of ticks depending on how you wish to breakdown the values on the thermometer.
Position
- This refers to where you wish the thermometer to be positioned on your slide.
Show Value, Bulb, and Labels
- Value refers to the number you are setting the progress or 'temperature' to. Bulb refers to the bulb at the bottom of the thermometer. Finally, labels refer to the labels of the tick marks to the side of the thermometer. These can all be toggled on or off depending on your needs.
