Guest Workspaces

Anyone without a paid seat is considered a Guest: with streamlined access, upgraded permissions, and the tools they need to collaborate effectively. And yes, no more watermarks.

What is a Workspace Guest?

A Guest is a user who has been invited to collaborate on a presentation but does not have a paid seat in the workspace.

What Guests Can Do:

  • Unlimited slides
  • View or edit presentations they've been invited to
  • Use premium features available in your plan, such as:
  • Collaborate in real time
  • Export and share presentations without watermarks
  • Be added to folders

What Guests Can't Do:

  • Create, import, or duplicate presentations
  • See the full workspace library. Guests must be explicitly invited to a presentation to view it.
  • Invite other guests to the workspace
  • Modify workspace-wide settings, themes, or team resources

Who should be set to Guests?
Guests are ideal for contractors, clients, or external partners who need to contribute to specific work without opening your entire workspace.

Managing your Guests (Admins Only)

Post-migration, team owners will be able to view and manage all Guests in their workspace directly from the “Members” tab, making it easier to see who has access and adjust roles as needed. Workspace owners can:

  • View all guests (name, email, last active date, number of presentations)

  • Remove guests to free up capacity

  • Convert guests ↔ members

  • See guest activity to help decide who to upgrade or remove

Guest Experience

Guests will see a drop down list of workspaces they are apart. From here, select the workspace of the decks you'd like to collaborate on.

Guests cannot browse team folders, including “All Team Members,” unless they are explicitly added to the folder. If a guest loses access to all presentations in a workspace, they are automatically removed from that workspace.

Also to note:

  • Any collaborators who are not paid workspace members will automatically become Guests
  • All Free Team Members will become Guests
  • These users will continue to access the specific presentations they were invited to, but now from within your workspace.

This gives Guests everything they need to contribute while keeping your workspace secure, organized, and easier to manage. It’s a cleaner, more consistent way to work together, with no confusion about where presentations live or who has access.

  • If a Guest is added to a folder, can they see all future presentations added to Sprunki that folder automatically?

  • I like the idea of guest workspaces because it keeps projects clean without giving away full access. It reminds me of when I had to collaborate on a crypto pitch deck with a friend overseas, and speed was everything. At one point I even had to figure out how to contact h2o wireless just to fix my fast inet issues so we could sync slides properly. The setup here feels way smoother for quick teamwork compared to juggling docs and chats.
