Understanding Classic Slides

Classic Slides give you unlimited flexibility to design your slides as you see fit with a more familiar authoring canvas. You can add shapes, pick any color or font, draw paths, and position things wherever you’d like.

Creating a Classic Slide

  1. Click on 'Add Slide'
  2. Type in 'Classic' in the search bar
  3. Select the 'Blank' classic slide template

Editing Classic Slides

As you click on different elements in your slide, a drop down menu will appear that displays the available customization options for that item. From styles and line weight to color and opacity, you have full control over how each element appears.

Canvas Elements

Click on the 'Edit' tab on the right hand side properties panel. Here, you'll see a list of all the canvas elements on the slide. You can edit, lock, or hide an element. This makes it easier for you to organize the elements on your slide.
