How do I customize the style of my Org Chart?

Easily visualize your team's structure with our organization chart template! Perfect for onboarding, planning, or presentations; it saves time, boosts clarity, and keeps everyone on the same page—making teamwork smoother and more fun.

Styles

When you create an Org Chart slide, all items use the Box style by default. To change the style of your org structure:

  1. Click on the 'Edit' tab on the right hand side properties panel
  2. Click on the 'Style' drop down at the top and click through the different options:
  • Minimal: Name and title/role
  • Box: A rectangle box with the name and title/role
  • Photo 1: Box style with photo
  • Photo 2: Minimal style with photo
  • Photo 3: Circle style with photo

Item/Node Style

  1. Click on the item/node you'd like to edit
  2. Select the 9 dot menu box from the bar menu to populate the node styles
  3. You will have the option to change the style of the item/node to:
    Person (default): Theme style of the template
    Placeholder: Name and title only
    Label: Name only

Connector Style

  1. Click on the item/node you'd like to edit
  2. Select the 9 dot menu box from the bar menu to populate the node styles
  3. You will be able to select from two styles:
    Solid  (default): The connecting line between the selected item and the parent item will be a solid line.
    Dotted: The connecting line between the selected item and the parent item will be a dotted line.

Colors

Node Color

To change the node/item color:

  1. Click on the 'Edit' tab on the right hand side in the properties panel
  2. Click on the color circle next to 'Node Color'
  3. You will be able to select the color as well as the color style

Connector Color

To change the connector color:

  1. Click on the 'Edit' tab on the right hand side in the properties panel
  2. Click on the color circle next to 'Connector Color'

    Very helpful explanation! Customizing the org chart style really helps in making structures more clear and professional, especially for presentations and academic work.
