  • Adding an audio track to a slide in your presentation can significantly enhance its impact, whether you're using it for background music, narration, or sound effects. To do this, navigate to the "Insert" tab in your presentation software, select "Audio" or "Audio from File," and choose the audio file from your device. You can adjust settings for automatic playback or play on click, as well as configure it to span across multiple slides. • Your slide shows “Update Available” because it was originally created using Beautiful.ai’s older text engine (Version 9).

In February 2023, Beautiful.ai introduced Version 10, which includes newer text features and support for tools like DesignerBot. Any slides made with V9 before that update are still fully usable, but they won’t have access to those newer capabilities—so the app flags them with Update Available.

Here’s what that means in simple terms:

    • Nothing is broken — V9 slides still work and can be edited
    • 🔄 The update is optional, not mandatory
    • ✨ Updating converts the slide from V9 → V10 to unlock newer text features
    • ↩️ If something looks off after updating, you can revert using Version History

As for why there’s no “Update All” button:
Beautiful.ai avoids bulk updates on purpose. Updating can slightly change layouts or spacing, which may require manual tweaks. Automatically updating an entire deck—especially one already shared with a client—could introduce unnoticed changes. That’s why they recommend updating only the slides you’re actively working on.

Also, if you’re into short-form video platforms or trending TikTok-style content, you might find this interesting: https://reels18.com/

So if you’re not actively editing a slide, it’s totally fine to leave it on V9.
