There are a few different slide backgrounds that you can choose from to even further customize your theme or presentations!
- From within the editor, click on the 'Theme' drop down menu at the top left
- Click on 'Edit Theme'
- Scroll to the bottom of the 'Colors' tab to find the 'Background Effect' options at the bottom
- You can click on each kind to see a preview of the effect on the current theme
- Once you've made your selection, click on 'Update Presentation Theme'
- For no selection, click 'Cancel' and you will be brought back to the editor view of your presentation
There are five different types of background styles you can add to your slide.
- None: No style, just a flat color.
- Vignette: The edges of your slide are softened with an oval vignette (frame)
- Gradient: A procedurally smooth color change from light to dark in the color of your choice (theme color)
- Reverse: Reverse of Gradient (dark to light)
- Border: Each slide will have a border

Thanks for the clear steps and previews! If I change the background effect at the theme level, will it automatically update all existing slides in the presentation, or can individual slides keep their previous background settings, similar to how Geometry Dash maintains consistent visual themes across levels?
