Exporting your slides and presentations

Congratulations! You've created stunning content that's ready to impress your audience. Whether you'd like to bring your slides into PowerPoint for further editing, or share your presentation with your team as a PDF, we'll show you how to export your content across various platforms and file types.

It's important to note that external platforms don't support Beautiful.ai's transitions and animations, so those will be lost on export. Alternatively, you can keep your presentation within Beautiful.ai and present it right from your dashboard, or create a shareable link to keep everything in tact.

Exporting as an editable PowerPoint or Google Slides is a feature only available on Pro, Team, and Enterprise subscriptions.

Exporting as an editable PowerPoint

Exporting as an editable PowerPoint is a feature available only on Pro, Team, and Enterprise subscriptions.

Editable PowerPoint exports provide you with a PPT file where all elements of your presentation can still be edited within PowerPoint, including your presentation notes. To export as an editable PowerPoint:

Single Slide

To export just one slide:

From the Presentation Library, click on the 3 dot menu and select 'Edit' to open your presentation in the Editor
Select 'Manage', then click on 'Export Slide'
Select 'Export Slide to PPT'
Your slide will then download and save automatically

Entire Presentation

To export your entire presentation:

Open your presentation by clicking on the 3 dot menu from the Presentation Library and select 'Edit'
Click on the 'Presentation' drop down menu in the top left hand corner
Click on 'Export Presentation'
To include skipped slides, check the box next to INCLUDE SKIPPED SLIDES IN EXPORT, or leave unchecked if you'd like to exclude your skipped slides in your export
Select 'Editable PowerPoint' (if your device doesn't have the fonts used in your Beautiful.ai presentation, your export will be slightly different - click Download Fonts and install them to avoid any formatting changes)
Click 'Export' and your download will begin automatically

Exporting as PowerPoint images

PowerPoint image exports will generate a PPT file containing slides that are static images of the content you created in Beautiful.ai - your speaker notes will be included as well.

This export type can only be utilized for your entire presentation. To export as PowerPoint images:

Open your presentation by clicking on the 3 dot menu from the Presentation Library and select 'Edit'
Click on the 'Presentation' drop down menu in the top left hand corner
Click on 'Export Presentation'
To include skipped slides, check the box next to INCLUDE SKIPPED SLIDES IN EXPORT, or leave unchecked if you'd like to exclude your skipped slides in your export
Select 'PowerPoint' and click 'Export'
Your download will begin automatically

Exporting to Google Slides

Exporting to Google Slides is a feature available only on Pro, Team, and Enterprise subscriptions.

Google Slides does not support Beautiful.ai's embedded videos, audio files, animations, or transitions, so those will be lost on export.

Exports to Google Slides are fully editable, and exporting your presentation will immediately launch your editable presentation in a new Google Slides tab. To export to Google Slides:

Open your presentation by clicking on the 3 dot menu from the Presentation Library and select 'Edit'
Click on the 'Presentation' drop down menu in the top left hand corner
Click on 'Export Presentation'
To include skipped slides, check the box next to INCLUDE SKIPPED SLIDES IN EXPORT, or leave unchecked if you'd like to exclude your skipped slides in your export
Select 'Google Slides' and click 'Export'
A progress bar will show your export status - once complete, your presentation will open in a new Google Slides tab

Exporting as PDF

PDF exports are static images and will not support any animations, audio, or videos. To export your presentation as a PDF:

Open your presentation by clicking on the 3 dot menu from the Presentation Library and select 'Edit'
Click on the 'Presentation' drop down menu in the top left hand corner
Click on 'Export Presentation'
To include skipped slides, check the box next to INCLUDE SKIPPED SLIDES IN EXPORT, or leave unchecked if you'd like to exclude your skipped slides in your export
Select 'PDF' and click 'Export'
Your download will begin automatically

Printing your presentation

Exporting your presentation to print will open a new tab with a printable PDF version of your presentation without a file download. To print your presentation:

Open your presentation by clicking on the 3 dot menu from the Presentation Library and select 'Edit'
Click on the 'Presentation' drop down menu in the top left hand corner
Click on 'Print Presentation'
Select Print Presentation
Click on the 'Printer icon'
Click on 'Save' to save your presentation as a PDF.
A pop up window will appear where you will be given the chance to rename your download as well as select where you would like it downloaded to on your device. Once you have everything set as you'd like, click 'Save'
Once the PDF is saved, you will be able to open that version to print

Exporting for Beautiful.ai's Offline Player

Beautiful.ai's Offline Player is a desktop application that allows you to present your slides offline while retaining all native animations and features of your presentation. Offline Player exports will create a .ZIP file of your presentation to be used within the player. For help downloading and installing the Offline Player, take a look at this guide.

To export your presentation for the Offline Player:

Open your presentation by clicking on the 3 dot menu from the Presentation Library and select 'Edit'
Click on the 'Presentation' drop down menu in the top left hand corner
Click on 'Export Presentation'
To include skipped slides, check the box next to INCLUDE SKIPPED SLIDES IN EXPORT, or leave unchecked if you'd like to exclude your skipped slides in your export
Select 'Present Offline' and click 'Export'
Your download will begin automatically
Do not unzip your download - the Offline Player will read the .ZIP as-is
