How do I rewrite text using AI?

With just a few clicks, you'll be making changes to tone, length, and grammar with ease. Whether you need to add a quick quote or add more gravitas to your writing, DesignerBot will get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Getting Started

DesignerBot can be found on your Text control bar. Anytime you need to rewrite text, click on the DesignerBot icon and configure your changes

Generate New

This will generate additional text to add to your slide

  1. Click on DesignerBot and select 'Generate new'
  2. Type in a prompt for the additional text you would like and either hit enter or click on 'Generate'
  3. You will be given some text options that you can either use by clicking on 'Add Text' or you can choose to 'Generate Again'
  4. You will see the additional text added highlighted on your slide

Quick Rewrite

 This will rewrite your text 

  1. Highlight the text you wish to rewrite
  2. Click on the DesignerBot icon
  3. Click on 'Quick Rewrite'
  4. You will see your text update on the slide

Shorten/Lengthen

This will either shorten or lengthen the selected text

  1. Highlight the text you wish to shorten or lengthen
  2. Click on the DesignerBot icon
  3. Click on either 'Shorten' or 'Lengthen'
  4. You will be given alternative text options depending on your selection. You can choose to either 'Apply' to add one of the newly generated options, 'Keep My Text' (located at the bottom of the generated options), or 'Generate Again'
  5. Once you make your selection, you will see your slide update

Fix spelling and grammar

This will check your text for any spelling or grammar errors and make corrections.

  1. Highlight the text you wish to check
  2. Click on the DesignerBot icon
  3. Click on 'Fix Spelling and grammar'
  4. DesignerBot will works its magic!

Translate

This will allow you to translate either the selected text, the current slide, or all slides by searching the language selection box

  1. Highlight the text you wish to translate (if you do not wish to translate the whole slide or presentation)
  2. Click on the DesignerBot icon
  3. Click on 'Translate'
  4. You can search what language you would like the text translated to and click on that language to make your selection
  5. Next, from the drop down, select either 'Selected Text' (if you've highlighted specific text on your slide), 'Current Slide', or 'All Slides'
  6. Once you've made your selection, click 'Generate Translation'
  7. You will see either the text, slide, or all slides update

Rewrite with prompt

This will change the text based on the tone you wish to portray. For example, if you want the already existing text to be more professional or playful-this is where you can make those changes!

  1. Highlight the text you wish to shorten or lengthen
  2. Click on the DesignerBot icon
  3. Click on 'Rewrite Text'
  4. A dialog box will appear where you can let DesignerBot know how you'd like the text to be rephrased i.e. "I'd like this to sound more playful". Once you've written your prompt, click 'Generate'
  5. You will be given alternative text options depending on your prompt. You can choose to either 'Apply' to add one of the newly generated options, 'Keep My Text' (located at the bottom of the generated options), or 'Generate Again'
  6. Once you make your selection, you will see your slide update

    1. Open your PowerPoint presentation.
    2. Go to the "View" tab on the ribbon.
    3. Look for the "Presentation Views" group like mega personal eu to check youtubegold.
    4. Click on "Slide Sorter" or "Normal" view. In Slide Sorter view, you'll see all of your slides at once as thumbnails
