Creating a presentation with AI is designed to match how professionals actually work. Getting Started
To generate a presentation with AI, click on Create Presentation and select the Create With AI option (or click here). You’ll start with a simple prompt-first screen where you can describe what you want to create.
Start with a Prompt
Enter a description of the presentation you’d like to create. You can:
Type or paste a prompt
Use the microphone to speak your prompt
Click the plus (+) icon to add supporting files such as documents, PDFs, or links
You can start from whatever you have—an idea, a detailed outline, or pre-written content. The workflow is designed to handle both short prompts and long, slide-by-slide instructions.
Once you submit your prompt, you’ll move into the outline step.
Prompt to Outline
After submitting your prompt, Beautiful.ai generates a slide-by-slide outline of your presentation.
Instead of immediately creating designed slides, this step focuses on structure and flow. Whether you entered a single idea or pasted a full outline, the AI maps your input into a clear draft that reflects your intent.
This outline is a low-fidelity, text-only view—so you can focus on what you’re saying before worrying about how it looks-thats our job!
The outline is where you shape your story.
From here, you can:
Edit slide titles and copy directly
Reorder or remove slides
Add new sections or a conclusion
Paste in additional content to expand specific slides
You can also use the AI chat panel to request changes in plain language. For example:
“Change the year in the title to 2026”
“Add an about us slide of the Sales leadership at beautiful.ai after slide 2”
“Add a conclusion slide”
“Delete slides 4, 6, and 9”
As you make changes, the outline updates in real time—helping you refine the narrative before moving into slide design.
Tip: This step gives you more control upfront, so the final slides stay closer to what you actually want to present.

Before generating slides, you can define how your presentation should look and feel.

Generate the Presentation
Once your outline and visual preferences are ready, click Generate Presentation.
Beautiful.ai uses your refined outline as the foundation for slide design—turning your structure into polished, fully designed slides.
